Relationship Counselling

You don't have to be on the brink of separation or divorce to seek assistance. I’ve helped many people work through tough times with their partner, and understanding how relationships work can solve a lot of problems that seem to come out of nowhere.

Depression

Depression can affect anyone, no matter their age, and it's becoming more common today. Whether or not someone is on medication, therapy can support faster recovery—I use a mix of methods, along with encouragement for lifestyle changes and tracking thoughts, to help people feel better.

Sleep Therapy

A fast-paced lifestyle can easily lead to sleep problems if not managed well. While pills may offer quick relief, working with a trained professional to make changes in thoughts and habits can help you take control of your sleep. I use cognitive behavior therapy and other techniques to support this process.

Stress Management

The greatest weapon against stress is our ability to choose one thought over another” — William James. In stress counselling, we build this skill by making small routine changes and learning to manage thoughts and reactions, helping you deal with stress more effectively.

Anxiety

If you're constantly feeling anxious, tense, or uneasy, I can help you manage and overcome those feelings. I use proven desensitization techniques that are highly effective in treating anxiety.

Individual Therapy

For those stuck in a cycle of negative thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, I help break that pattern and regain control. This empowers people to manage their inner world and enhance their overall quality of life.

Therapy is "not" linear

Therapy progress is not linear; it doesn't follow a straight, predictable path. Instead, it's more like a journey with ups and downs, twists and turns. People often have breakthrough moments where they experience significant growth and positive change, but they may also encounter setbacks and challenges along the way. Therapy progress is influenced by various factors, including the individual's readiness for change, the complexity of their issues, and the therapeutic relationship. It requires patience, self-reflection, and a willingness to navigate the complexities of personal growth. Ultimately, therapy progress is a unique and individual process that can't be neatly measured or charted on a linear timeline.
